WIMUN New York 2026, organized by WFUNA, was held from 9–13 February 2026 at the InterContinental and Westin hotels in Times Square, New York City. The conference brought together over 1,700 high school and university students, educators, and young leaders from 73 countries to experience a realistic simulation of UN diplomacy. Participants represented different countries in simulations of UN bodies like the General Assembly, focusing on negotiation, consensus-building, public speaking, and teamwork. The program included training workshops, multiple simulation sessions, a WIMUN Global Experience, and closing/social events, aiming to prepare the next generation of global leaders.
